Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and
[Company Legal Name] ("Vestl", "we", "us") governing your use of the Vestl
mobile and web application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App,
you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not
agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vestl with your own account. If you
are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the
involvement of a parent or guardian. Children under 13 may use Vestl only
through a child profile created and supervised by a parent or guardian on the
Family plan, as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App you represent
that you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity
under your account.
- You may use the App as a guest with no account; guest data is stored on your
device and may be lost if you uninstall the App or switch devices.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized
use of your account.
3. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable
license to use the App for your own, non-commercial learning. You may not copy,
modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the
App except as permitted by law.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
- Vestl offers optional paid subscriptions ("Vestl Pro" / Family plan). Features
and prices are shown in the App before purchase.
- Payments are processed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play, not by us.
Purchases are charged to your store account.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period
unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel
anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we generally
cannot issue refunds directly.
- We may change prices or features prospectively; we will give notice where
required and changes will not affect a period you have already paid for.
5. AI-generated content — important disclaimer
Vestl generates courses, lessons, and quizzes using artificial intelligence.
- AI content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You should not
rely on it as the sole source of truth.
- Vestl is for general education and entertainment only. It is not
professional, medical, legal, financial, safety, or vocational-certification
advice, and it does not create any professional qualification, license, or
accreditation. Always consult a qualified professional and official sources
before acting — especially for trades, finance, health, or safety topics.
- You are responsible for how you use generated content.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- enter, request, or generate content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing,
sexual, violent, or that exploits or endangers minors;
- attempt to bypass safety, age, or parental controls;
- probe, disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the App or its servers;
- use the App to build a competing product or to scrape or harvest content;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, software, mascot, and brand are owned by Vestl and protected
by law. Seed and AI-generated course content is provided to you under the license
in Section 3 for your personal learning. Any feedback you give us may be used
without obligation to you.
Your inputs. You retain ownership of the goals and text you submit. You grant
us a license to process that input to operate the App (including generating your
course). You represent that you have the right to submit it.
8. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services (e.g. Apple, Google, Supabase, our AI
provider, RevenueCat). Your use of those services may also be governed by their
terms, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind,
express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose,
accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be
uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be accurate. Some jurisdictions
do not allow certain disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vestl and its suppliers will not be
liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages,
or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability
for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the **greater of (a) the amount
you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50**.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vestl from claims, damages, and expenses
arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, to the extent
permitted by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if
you violate these Terms or to comply with law. Provisions that by their nature
should survive (e.g. Sections 5, 7, 9, 10, 11) will survive termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. If we make material changes, we will
update the "Last updated" date and notify you in the App where appropriate. Your
continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State / Country], without regard to
conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of
